We welcome players from all backgrounds, of all shapes and sizes. As a fairly new sport to the UK it does not matter whether you have any experience of playing or watching the sport, you will quickly learn and develop. With 24 different starting spots up for grabs, our coaches will find the position that suits you best.
Every year we take players with limited or no experience of American Football, and mould them into one of the most well-rounded teams in the region. With two sessions a week in addition to game days we integrate practice, film study and strength and conditioning into a comprehensive but accessible training programme.
The 2024/25 Season promises to grow on recent successes. With our new Head Coach, James Gilchrist, the club is looking to reinforce its young core of players and compete for playoffs.
The winning culture within the club stems from the strong sense of community with the players understanding the importance of developing each other as well as themselves.
In addition to the contact team, we are excited to be starting a full time flag team, building on a successful pilot program last year. For those looking to play, but without the contact this is the option for you.
Off the field, we also have a strong social scene. Our close ties with other societies, such as cheerleading, leads to great socials and a chance to meet lots of people. We have themed socials every Wednesday, and head to the The White Harte on Sundays to watch NFL Red Zone.
