Fireside Online Chat - Space Edition

Are you interested in space exploration? astronomy? or simply curious about how we sent a spacecraft for over 225,000,000 miles to the red planet to discover what humanity has never seen before? Or if you also want to hear the insight into how professionals in this field operate, perhaps to choose this as your career in the near future - this will be the perfect session for you!

With multiple decades at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) - the household name in deep space exploration, Mr. Steve Matousek was working as the manager of the Mars Exploration Program Advanced Studies Office and was involved with iconic missions such as Voyager, Juno, and Mars Cube One.

We are glad to welcome him online to not only discuss about his experience and how the engineering process behind these missions is done (focusing on payload design and the concept of Concurent Engineering - CE), but also to answer questions from the participants as well (so please come prepared!).
