Hello, we’re the Housing Advice Team!

We offer free, independent and confidential housing advice students at the University of Bristol.

We’re here to help you feel more confident during your first few years of independent living and help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. We can support you through any housing problems you might face, no matter where you are living while at university.

We can assist with finding housemates or accommodation, and help you understand tenancy agreements. The team also provides advice on managing bills and finances, handling maintenance and repairs, and dealing with emergencies, including housing scams. Problems while moving out? We can help with that one too!

If we can’t help you, we’re confident that we can put you in touch with someone else who can!

We offer online and in-person appointments and drop-ins in Senate House. You can get in touch with one of the team via email. You’re also likely to see us at events like the Housing Fair, so come and say hello!
