Proud to present the padel society!
It is our pride to present you the first Padel society in England!
Padel is a very popular racket sport in southern European countries such as Spain, France and Italy. It is very similar to tennis, but the racket is slightly smaller and made from cork, this makes the ball go move slightly slower and therefore the courts are also smaller. Another difference is that the courts are closed and therefore the ball can bounce from its walls making for very interesting and fun games.
We are five friends that are passionate about this sport and want to introduce it into the university. Hoping that people that have the same passion for racket sport will give padel a try and realise how enjoyable it is!
