Student Community Organisers

Student Community Organisers are elected roles that receive a £1500 honorarium (taxable), working to build campaigns that work for students.

These six organisers drive change from within the student body, using a community organising approach to campaigning. They collaborate to connect student communities across the University and create a united voice to tackle the issues that matter most to students.

For the 2026/27 academic year, there will be six elected Community Organisers:

  • Two open roles

  • Four roles that work with specific communities

We want our student leaders to reflect the diversity of our student body and encourage students from all backgrounds to get involved. All organisers will campaign on a wide range of issues across campus, regardless of their specific community focus.

Our aim is to build broad based campaigns that work across communities within the University of Bristol and in the wider city of Bristol.
