Elections Results 2024

Friday 08-03-2024 - 19:00

That’s it, the 2024-25 Bristol SU Elections are complete!

After days of incredible campaigning from all candidates, 7861 voters and over 60,000 votes cast - Elections have now come to an end for another year.

Not only have we seen one of the highest-ever numbers of students voting at Bristol SU, but it's also been one of (if not the) highest voter % in the country with an amazing 25.4% voter turnout.

Importantly, you - the students - have had your say on who could make your SU and university experience greater.

A huge well done and everyone that's been involved in this year's elections - from voters to candidates. We've loved seeing all of you out and about this week, filling the Bristol campus with posters and banners - and spreading the word about Elections to all students. Candidates, it's been great to see your confidence when talking to potential voters, and you should be proud of yourselves for putting yourselves out there to those that you’ve come across – it has all had a hugely positive impact on results, and therefore improvement to the lives of Bristol students.

Whether it was in person at North Village halls, digitally on Instagram, or through banners and posters on Floor 4 of Senate House, each method of campaigning has led to a vote - and every new voter you’ve got to vote for you is a step forward in students being heard and represented by Bristol SU and the uni.

And so, as the results are in, let's find out who your newly elected representatives are for the 2024/25 academic year...
