Jan/Feb Beginners Course

Welcome to our beginner's course ticket purchasing page.

Beginner's Course tickets will be released in two waves, half before our GIAG on 15th Jan and half after.

Our beginner's course will start on the 19th of Jan and will run for 4 weeks. It is required that you attend every session to complete your beginner's course, as a minimum number of coached hours is necessary to be deemed safe to shoot at a range by our national governing body (Archery GB). For more information about the beginners course see our website. Each session will be 09:00-12:00 at Coombe Dingle Sports Complex on Sunday mornings from the 19th of Jan to 9th of Feb.

The base ticket for our beginner's course (£45) covers the 4 week course, after which you will receive a certificate allowing you to join other archery clubs, or our own.

You will also be able to join UoB Archery by purchasing the novice membership after completing the course, for £15. The novice membership will allow you to attend to all three of our weekly sessions, and borrow club equipment to use at the range.

To be able to shoot with us after the course you will also need to buy the Sports, Exercise and Health (SEH) Access Pass - this is required of any member of a sports club that uses SEH facilities and costs £25.

The only other thing you will need to buy is Session Credits - we charge a small per session fee for all sessions you attend to help cover facility hire costs and keep membership prices down. These are £1.50 - £2.00 each depending on how you buy them.
