The Anson Rooms

The Anson Rooms is Bristol SU's largest event space. Used by student groups and the SU events team, this space is the home of our large scale events and activities.

This diverse space is suitable for hosting live music events, theatrical productions, dance and performance shows or rehearsals. It is a great multipurpose venue which can be utilised as a practice space, or for conferences, meetings, awards ceremonies, fairs and other functions. The auditorium is available for exclusive use, with the option of access to a bar within the hall itself as well.

Students can apply to host 'Special Events' which have at least 250 attendees in the Anson Rooms. We've hosted some incredible events from the fantastic Bristol SU Boxing Fight Night to our Hindu Soc's sold out Dola Re Garba.

You can only apply at certain times of the year so make sure you get your application in before the deadline!
